Presenting the latest Strange Space Short Story!

Greetings from Strange Space! Today, I am delighted to reveal the cover of this month's Patreon-exclusive Strange Space short story: Aliens at a Tiki Bar! This is one of my absolute favorite stories I've written for these characters, in no small part because it features the first meeting between several of my most fun characters to write. Here's a little teaser for you:

Celadon Toreval and their human Navigator, Hsu Li, are finally able to take some well deserved time off from their work moving the Defense Fleet’s SCV Aegolius around interstellar space. What could be better than a quiet evening of tropical beverages and dancing at one of Horizon Prime Station’s themed recreational facilities?

Of course, fate tends to have different plans for Celadon—and they won’t be able to brood in the corner and watch their Navigator dance alone for long.

Meanwhile, a young mechanic from a different ship is looking for a seat in the crowded tiki bar...

As you can probably guess if you're familiar with my Strange Space stories, this one takes place sometime between Celadon and The Garden in the Darkness. (Naturally, you don't have to have read either of those to understand what's going on! If you'd like to learn more about the characters featured in this story, though, you can find them in both of those books!)
